The only type of tv/movies I can watch

THERE HAS TO BE OTHER PEOPLE WHO FEEL THIS WAY. And yet I haven’t met a single one. (Where are you?)

TV and movies. I can only get into things that can happen in real life. Either they did happen, are happening now, or it is EXTREMELY likely that it will happen in the future.

Basically Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Avatar, Last of Us, Game of Thrones, etc… does not do it for me. I think it’s because I can’t see myself in any of it. I can’t even begin to picture it because it seems so far-fetched for me.

And I’ve always been this way. Dan always says to me “Babe your imagination is not big enough come on!!” He just wants me to watch something and “escape and daydream” with him. CAN’T DO IT.

Some storylines will get me mildly into it. Like I will admit Last Of Us tv show was good!! Even though I don’t think it could happen IRL and that did take out a lot of the fun for me. Dan on the other hand… thinks it could happen lol. Once again pointing out my lack of creative thought and visualization.

Documentaries. Shows/movies based on real life. More character-driven and factually accurate… I’m so into it. The more “theatrics”… the more “make-believe”…. I lose interest.
