Things that have helped me rock my pregnancy

I have truly had the best and healthiest pregnancy. I could not ask for more. THANK YOU GOD. I know He has been looking out for me!
I listed this out SUPER QUICK BULLET POINT because I know we have little time and I wanted to be efficient! Some are product based (I provided codes) and some are techniques!
You got this!! Pregnancy is hard but we can shift some things!! <3
I have kept my minerals UP. Girl you do NOT want to be mineral deficient when you are pregnant or breast feeding. It is the quickest way to feel like absolute garbage.
The water based electrolytes I take DAILY are from Beam Minerals. Especially the green bottle (I do half a cup full 2X a day) and the blue bottle, because I am detox senstive and pregnant, I do 3 DROPS a day. The green bottle (fulvic) lasts me almost 2 months. The blue bottle (humic) is going on a year now haha. Also their fulvic spray (Insta-lytes) is a true ride or die for muscle cramps and whats fun is the skin on your face loves it too. ;) Anyway— Get everything HERE my code is VIOLETFOG for 20% off.
The salt based electrolytes I like (which some people prefer that over water based minerals) are from Instant Hydration. I like the ratios a lot (basically 1:1) and the fact it’s 500mg of sodium. I don’t like any more sodium than that. Everyone is different but I find those with crap salt and 1000mg of sodium to NOT make me feel how I want. This brand also uses french gray sea salt which has trace minerals in it too. They are third party tested and just amazing. My code is VIOLETFOG for 40% and you can get them HERE.
2. DO YOUR LEGS UP THE WALL. Please. Daily. Do not skip a day. The extra weight is so hard on the legs and veins. Legs up the wall is sooooo life giving during pregnancy. I also do some light lymph work.
3. Red light therapy during prayer time. We are a big red light family. I just do NOT use red light over the womb while pregnant. But I find the practice to make me so happy because I just love my skin looking good lol so I do it on my face while praying. I think us preggies need that extra self care time. Now when I am post partum you best BELIEVE I’ll be doing red light on the V to bring down inflammation. If you like a red light MASK I recommend the MEN’S OMNILUX MASK (not the womens) and if you want a panel (EVEN STRONGER) I recommend Light Path LED. Feel free to check out my highlight on IG that goes into detail everything on why I like these brands.
MASK: Get it HERE code is VIOLETFOG10
PANEL: Get it HERE code is VIOLETFOG
4. SELF MASSAGE. Especially my legs and traps. I give extra care to my fascia while pregnant because I know the body is going through a lot. Check out my leg wellness routine— it’s about leg skin (Body butter by Primally Pure is clutch for leg skin btw— code VIOLETFOG) but you will see in this routine how much I emphasize really working the calves and thighs with your knuckles. Healthy feeling legs is so nice in pregnancy. Anytime my legs start to feel stiff or heavy I do legs up the wall and then immediately some self massage on them. I am regular about this and I believe it has helped so much with energy and reducing swelling.
Also if you ever want to learn fascia facial massage—do it with the Anastasia Beauty Fascia program. It is the best one. She gives favor to my wait list… simply because I asked if she would. ;) It does fill up fast. But only do it if you are really going to commit otherwise it’s a waste of money. But man during pregnancy I will say working on my face fascia has kept me feeling good but also been so great for headaches.
5. Acupuncture and Chiropractor. If you can budget for this, amazing. If not- seriously don’t worry. So many women have had successful amazing healthy pregnancies and never did this. I just had health issues before so I continued on with my pregnancy. Toward the end I was losing space in my belly and it was getting uncomfy so I found chiropractors who could do the WEBSTER METHOD here in Austin. Highly recommend Merrick Mendoza from Whole Family Chiropractic (Mueller) and Dr. Holmes at Integrate Chiropractic (South Austin)— Both are AMAZING.
6. Taking Phosphatidylcholine (PC) every day. WOW when I tell you this is my brain candy. This has helped so much with brain fog AND I know so many moms who swore by this their entire pregnancies and BF-ing journeys… and then stayed on for life haha. It is the ultimate CELL FUEL and cell membrane protection. I am not kidding you I try to plan taking this during the day because my brain feels so good afterwards. This is probably my all time favorite supplement the entire pregnancy. I prefer the PC from the bottle. Get it HERE code is VIOLETFOG.
7. XYLITOL MINTS for the teeth. I am keeping my teeth extremely strong. So many preggies deal with teeth issues when pregnant. I have about 8-10 of these mints a day. No code or anything just love the brand Zellies. Anytime I eat or drink anything I end with a xylitol mint to keep my saliva healthy. I even have one right before bed. Favorite brand here.
8. Staying off Tiktok. Right now as I get closer to my due date the last thing I want is birth horror stories for SOME REASON they keep getting served to me right now. I wanted to hear those stories at some point because they matter and it’s good to be prepared, but I also don’t want it closer to my due date. I gotta protect my mind and keep it positive.
9. Working on posture. I have slacked a bit but have made enough effort where I feel my back has actually done pretty dang well this whole pregnancy. Just a reminder do start keeping those shoulders done and not engaging in too much forward head posture. I engaged in a little too much of that and am back to doing 20 cactus arms on the wall a day— takes 45 seconds. Do it! <3
10. Being my biggest cheerleader! This is the biggest one. I simply tell myself I got this, I love me, I am proud of me! I hype myself up and you can’t tell me this doesn’t help. YOU GOT THIS!!
