LITTLE habits I do to keep vibrant skin

For reference I am 37. I think you know that but I know people are usually curious. I know I am lol. Now I LOVE the thought of getting older. Don’t wish to look younger. But duh- I do enjoy having bright skin.
So let’s get into some of my habits and maybe some will be appealing to you as well.
Habit 1. I do niceys for my lymph all day. Open up the terminus/clavicle from time to time. Scalp massages. Driving with the zipper down. Wearing mostly loose fitting clothes at home. Remember- Those who pay attention to lymph are often less dull in the skin. If dullness is an issue, beef up the lymph work lady! ;) You got this.
Habit 2. Have always been diligent about sunscreen on my face, neck, chest, and hands. And I mean *diligent*. I don’t like US chemical sunscreens and tend to favor US tinted minerals and ones from Korea and Japan. I do make sure to adequate sun but then I cover the heck up!
Habit 3. Facial massage. I stay consistent on areas the need extra work. So for me that might be the 11s as I don’t want them to imprint. And neck and chest. I’ve had neck lines and chest rings since high school but if I can help soften them, tighten the skin a bit, roll out some tensed fascia— I mean why not?
Habit 4. Facial massage again. But this time, little things throughout the day when I don’t have a chunk of time to do a big routine. Example: if I’ve been very expressive in my forehead maybe from an intense convo, I immediately spend one minute smoothing it out. Like okay we had a workout lil muscles now let’s calm down. Or if I didn’t get to facial massage during the day I will do some neck stretches and cheek work while watching TV.
*Facial massage is best in the morning though. Next best is afternoon. Reason night is least desirable is you have less movement going on after to drain lymph waste— as you’re likely chillin on the couch and move straight to bed. Something is better than nothing though, at least for me.*
Habit 5. I make certain things more accessible otherwise I won’t use it. I keep sheet masks out on the coffee table and right lights within arms distance of the couch. I keep sunscreen in the purse. Hand lotion in the car. You get it :)
Habit 6. This sounds silly but I do try to wear more “happiness” on my face rather than anger, annoyance, and rigidity. Yes even if I have to fake it till I make it sometimes. I know a lightness and playfulness about me will help my skin in the long run and the opposite would do, well, the opposite for my skin.
Habit 7. When I’m not pregnant, I am big on tretinoin and retinals. (I prefer retinal over retinol.) They’re not for everyone, but HUNNI THEY ARE FOR ME. They work so so well— again, for me. But many others too. However not for everyone.
Habit 8. Extremely big on what I call antioxidant bathing. My skin is constantly exposed to beautiful antioxidants during the day. Astaxanthin, raspberry, reship, prickly pear, to name a few. Little things add up! And I look at skincare and beauty as FUN and not a chore or obsession. That’s key.
+ Like Herbal Face Food (youth serum 1) is the antioxidant serum of my dreams. (Use code VIOLETFOG30 for 30% off!)
+ And the plumping serum by Primally Pure is the OIL of my dreams. (Use code VIOLETFOG for 15% off!)
Anyway!! Little things add up the big things. You are so worth the extra effort, having fun with it, and taking care of your skin. Stay playful with it, not rigid— and see what can come about!
