MY FACE FASCIA ROUTINE

MY FACE FASCIA ROUTINE

I am wildly obsessed with working on the fascia in my face, neck, chest... arms, legs, all over haha. But the face wow-- talk about the ultimate "skincare hack."

It's so good! And here's how it's always been for me.

I have worked on the fascia in my face for the last 11 years now. It works.

But the last 18 months I took it even MORE seriously.

We should note, that this is different than Gua Sha, which I do love btw. But getting in deep with your own hands and learning specific fascia techniques is a very different practice.

Personally I think they are both great.

CURRENT ROUTINE:

I don’t think I’ve ever gone a week without doing a fascia massage in the past 18 months. I do a 20 min session at least once a week.

But when I am getting the most results- I am working on it three to seven times a week. Minimum 10 min each time.

Usually, I'm doing it it 3-4X a week.

***I do it less during times when I don’t have consistency or momentum and this happens often because life is life!***

Even ONCE a week is very, VERY worth it. If you find that’s all you have time for, you should still consider that a win and you should try to learn some basic practices.

Here’s why: Your body LOVES this kind of massage. Fascia work is more than just beauty and relaxation on the outside, it also aids in emotional health, blood circulation, mind/body connection, lymph flow, mobility. Etc.

Even after ONE time you are helping to relax some muscles and improve blood flow and even do some nice-ys for your lymph. Tell me that isn’t worth it!

Now over the years I have learned mostly through courses and videos I can easily find online. A lot of it I’ve done so long now I have memorized.

But the best in the game for learning facial massage (IMO) is @anastasciabeautyfascia. The way she understands and explains the face is brilliant. Although I’ve done fascia work for a while, I would say at least 80% of my knowledge today I have learned from her. She is THAT GOOD and knowledgeable. Her course has proven to be worth every penny for me.

I often do her routines and also throw in some of my own moves/combinations-- that's usually how I do it. There are a few other people I like to learn from as well when it comes to facial massage, fascia work, lymph work, etc.

But every day I see a moment to do fascial massage as a gift. I am in love with practice- not just the results. If it calls to you I hope you one day explore it. It’s so life-giving!

Let me know if you've ever tried it!
