MY FAVORITE SUNSCREENS (AND HOW I'D HELP YOU PICK)

I am going to keep this so easy.

These are my all time favorite sunscreens. I am going to give you a few categories to figure out which one you want to try.

THINGS TO NOTE. I am going to make this bullet point real quick because you should know my biases:

I prefer US mineral sunscreens OR I prefer the UV filters from Korea/Japan usually.

I do NOT like chemical sunscreens from the US only because they sting my eyeballs.

I am OKAY now and then with a mineral based sunscreen that has a chemical booster in it. As you can see below, only one of those in praticular made my list. Usually I liked solely mineral. Or again, I only like the cleaner chemical filters from Korea/Japan.

US Tinted mineral sunscreens look STUNNING on the skin. They do need to get with the times and make darker shades. Really upsets me a lot of brands haven’t done that.

I often will go for more liquidy sunscreens, more fluid, as they are so eloquent and lay beautifully on the skin. I don’t always reach for this, but often.

**** I like that this has astaxanthin and green tea in it. So good for protection and oxidative stress. It’s liquidy, “clean”, is not considered tinted but with the astaxanthin in it, does give you a nice glow not just a white cast, which on my skin you barely see. Lays so pretty under makeup. HAS a chemical booster in it.

**** Because this is SPF 30, I consider this my morning or late afternoon/early evening sunscreen. High sun moments I like an SPF 50. This is thick, and not good for you if you are acne prone. Wonderful for you if you want to use something that will ALSO double for you as a moisturizer and you want to look DEWY. Tinted, beautiful.
